Most budget 24-inch monitors only tilt. The 524sh lifts and lowers by 100 mm and tilts from -5° to +25°, so you can put the top of the screen at eye level. That means less neck and shoulder strain during long office days, and it is easier to line up two monitors at the same height.
The IPS panel gives consistent colour from wide 178° viewing angles, and 99% sRGB coverage keeps photos, websites and presentations looking true to life. At 23.8 inches, Full HD gives 93 pixels per inch, so text looks clean at normal desk distance. 300 nits of brightness and an anti-glare finish work well in bright UAE offices.
At 100Hz the screen updates 100 times a second, about 66% more often than a standard 60Hz monitor. Scrolling through documents, moving windows and watching videos looks noticeably smoother, and the 5ms response time keeps motion clear.
HP Eye Ease is an always-on low blue light filter that is Eyesafe certified, so it reduces blue light without turning the picture yellow. The screen is also TÜV flicker-free certified.
The 3-sided micro-edge bezel keeps the gap between two screens small, and the height adjustment lets you match them perfectly. Integrated cable management keeps your desk tidy.
HP builds the 524sh with at least 85% post-consumer recycled plastic and 5% ocean-bound plastic, and it is EPEAT Gold registered.
It is good for casual gaming. 100Hz and a 5ms response time make games feel smoother than on a 60Hz office screen, and it suits PS5, PS4 and Xbox at 1080p over HDMI (consoles output 60Hz at 1080p on this screen). For competitive esports at 144Hz or higher, choose a dedicated gaming monitor from our monitors range.
