The Intel Core 3 N355 is an 8-core processor designed for efficiency. It handles Google Docs, Microsoft Word and PowerPoint, Teams and Zoom calls, research in the browser and YouTube without fuss, which makes this IdeaPad a practical student laptop.
Email, spreadsheets, online banking and video streaming run smoothly. The numeric keypad helps with data entry, and Wi-Fi 6 gives faster, more stable connections on modern routers.
At 1.55 kg and 17.9 mm thin, it fits easily in a backpack. You get 2 × USB-A, a USB-C port that supports charging (45–65W) and DisplayPort output, HDMI 1.4 for a monitor or TV, an SD card reader and a headphone jack. Rapid Charge Boost gives around 2 hours of use from a 15-minute charge, according to Lenovo.
The 720p webcam has a physical privacy shutter, two microphones help on calls, and Dolby Audio stereo speakers are clear for lectures and videos. Lenovo also includes TÜV Rheinland-certified low blue light software for eye comfort.
Choose it if you want a reliable, low-cost Windows laptop for everyday tasks. It is not designed for gaming, video editing or heavy multitasking: the 8GB memory is soldered and cannot be upgraded, and 128GB of storage fills up quickly, so we recommend saving files to OneDrive, Google Drive or a USB drive.
