Why laptop prices in Dubai differ from shop to shop
- U.S. vs Middle East versions. Many laptops sold in Dubai are U.S. or international versions. They are often cheaper, but have an English keyboard and the manufacturer’s international warranty. Ask who handles warranty claims before you pay.
- VAT. UAE prices include 5% VAT. Some sites show prices without VAT until checkout.
- RAM and storage variants. The same model can be AED 300–700 apart between 512GB and 1TB or 2TB – compare exact configurations.
- Bundles. A free bag or mouse is nice, but compare the laptop price itself.
- Sale seasons. Prices drop most during 11.11, White Friday, the Dubai Shopping Festival and back-to-school.
